Obituary of Fred Bogaczyk

Fred A. Bogaczyk, Jr. Of West Corners Fred A. Bogaczyk, 70, of West Corners, passed away at his home June 6, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy (Knapp) Bogaczyk, West Corners; sons, John Bogaczyk, Baldwinsville, NY, and Steven Bogaczyk, Wake Forest, NC; his daughter, Donna Rutkowski and son-in-law, Jerry Rutkowski, Ashburn, VA; stepson, Kenneth Knapp and his wife, Kristine, Brackney, PA; stepdaughter, Sharon Geisenhof, Endicott, NY; his grandchildren, Katie Bogaczyk, Endwell, NY, Serena Bogaczyk and Sammy Bogaczyk, Wake Forest, NC; Ryan, Justin and Evan Rutkowski, Ashburn, Va., Victoria Knapp, Brackney, PA; his brothers, Andrew Bogaczyk and his wife, Miriam, Tioga, PA, Paul Bogaczyk, Blossburg, PA; his sisters, Irene Frey and her husband, Dean, Blossburg, Pa., Lottie Nelcoski, Elmira, NY, Pauline Plank and her husband, Donald, Tioga, PA, Rosemary Adams and her husband, Gary, Pine City, NY., JoAnn Gutshall and her husband, Jack, Vestal, NY, Julia McKerrow and her husband, Dave, Troy, PA, and Diane Wood and her husband, Arland, Blossburg, PA; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. Fred was a retired Senior Level Manager from the IBM Corporation, a member and Past Exalted Ruler of the Vestal Elks Lodge #2508 B.P.O.E. He loved the outdoors, golfing and fishing. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2007, at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home Inc., 300 E. Main St., Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Charles St., Vestal. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 2-4 and 7-9. The Vestal Elks Lodge #2508 B.P.O.E. will conduct a Lodge of Sorrow, 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
