She is predeceased by her loving grandparents, Gerald and Jean Rothwell, her wonderful grandfathers, Joseph Wiercinski and Edwin Colwell. Christine was born in Binghamton, NY. She loved the outdoors, and her love of animals was very apparent. Her sense of style was like no other. She usually had on cowboy boots, some sort of dress or something flowey and some sort of hat. She loved her hats and boots. Christine loved books and read so many. She had an absolute love for any kind of history which she majored in at Binghamton University. Anything you ever needed to know, she was your go-to girl. She was a natural in the saddle. As her mother said, Christine on horseback was like someone sitting in a recliner, she was extremely relaxed and in control. Christine won numerous ribbons and trophies for Western-Style riding and show competitions. Throughout school, Christine was involved in basketball, field hockey, band, drama club and National Honor Society. Christine graduated from Harpursville High School in June of 2007. Although battling an ever-worsening case of CF, Christine attained her A.A. Degree in Liberal Arts with Honors from Broome Community College in December of 2010 and her B.A. Degree in History with honors from Binghamton University in December 2012. While enrolled at BCC, Christine met her future husband, Ted. After three and a half years of dating, a move to Newfield, NY together with their sons, and the beginning of two promising careers, Christine and Ted were engaged on March 1st, 2014. A wedding was planned for September 19th, 2015 at Celebrations in Ithaca, NY. In October of 2014, while working hard to further her new and exciting career with Cornell Federal Credit Union (CFCU), Christine fell very ill due to an exacerbation with her CF. Although Christine fought valiantly and fearlessly, she left this world on November 8th, 2014. Christine will forever be remembered by her loved ones for her beauty, grace, humor, strength, love, compassion, and many more unforgettable traits that made her the once in a lifetime person she was. Her courage and strength in her fight against CF will forever be an inspiration to loved ones and strangers alike. Although Christine was afflicted with Cystic Fibrosis since birth, she never let it dampen her spirits or limit her abilities or her passions.
