Obituary of Nancy Kay Lynch

Nancy "Nena" Lynch age 78 passed away peacefully Saturday, May 14, 2016 with her loving family at her side. She was predeceased by her parents Franklyn & Mildred Russell, sister Sally Brewer, brother William Russell her-in- laws Francis & Cecelia Lynch, Jean Fowler, Joseph Lynch. Nancy is survived by her loving husband and care giver of 57 years Richard Foster Lynch, their three children and their families Sallie, Megan (Nate), Isabella, Maddison; Pamela (Jason), Brittany; Thomas (Nikki) Adde; sister Linda Russell, brothers James (Pat) Russell, Jack (Glenda) Russell; sisters-in-law Frances Murphy, Eleanor Lynch; brother-In-law Edward (Dorothy) Lynch and many special nieces and nephews that she loved very much and very close special friends Ken & Lena Wescott. Nancy was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, she loved her family and was very proud of all of them. She loved camping, snowmobiling, taking care of her flowers, and especially loved spending time with her family. She worked at Chenango Industries, IBM Owego and Owego Elementary School. Thank you to everyone for their support and caring for our wife and mother there are so many special people that helped us that we cannot express how much it meant to us we can never thank you enough. Thank you to the staff at UHS Owego and Wilson hospital - Kim McHenry a special thank you to you for your gentle care of our wife and mother. Dr Harris we cannot thank you enough for arranging for us to spend our last days together in our own room. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:15am from Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home LLC 6519 State Route 434, Apalachin and 11am at St. Brigid's Church, Friendsville where a funeral mass will be celebrated burial will be in St Thomas Apostle Cemetery, Little Meadows the family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 4-7. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Mercy House, 212 North McKinley Ave, Endicott, NY 13760 in her memory.
