Obituary of Robert K. Sickler

Robert Kenneth Sickler of Vestal, born December 4, 1930, passed away peacefully at his home on July 5, 2016. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Shirley, and oldest son Robert L Sickler. He is survived by his children Lee (Trudy), Lynn (Kim) McPartland, Scott (Pam), and Dori (Dave) Kahabka, Diane Snyder. 16 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Robert was born in Wyoming County, PA, and graduated from Binghamton North High. He worked as a Security Guard for IBM, Endicott for 36 years. He was a loving grandfather, and best friend to all his grandchildren. He loved his family, friends, neighbors and trusty sidekick Koko. Robert enjoyed sitting in his screened in porch, "supervising" yard work, watching Koko play, and the deer wander through the yard. His sense of humor was enjoyed by all. Bob's presence in the lives of those he touched will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC., 300 East Main St, Endicott, Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 10AM until 12PM. In Bob's memory those who wish may make a donation to the Broome County Humane Society.
