Obituary of Karen L. Ferro

Karen Ferro, born on 6/28/47, lost her battle with uterine cancer on 7/13/17. Karen was predeceased by her parents: Elmer & Laura Cooper, brother: Richard Cooper and sister: Virginia (Ginner) Martinez. She is survived by her daughters: Tina (Dan) Bobier, Julie (Bill) Ingersoll and Cheri Ferro, her grandchildren: Cameron and Ashley Bobier, William (Emily) Ingersoll, Cole Ingersoll, Heather Mc Pherson, Doug McPherson and a great grandson: Odin Murphy. She is also survived by her sisters: Joyce (Steve) Greene, Joan Wolcott, Vera (Skip) Conner, Bonnie (Bill) Bayliff and her brother: David (Sally) Copper as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Karen was a wonderful cook and was always willing to donate a meal or dessert to anyone who asked. Her family and friends will miss all her wonderful dishes that she loved to share. Karen especially loved family gatherings and making a huge meal which always included at least 1 new dish that she needed to try out on them. Karen was employed by Technical Advantage Resources in Owego, NY where she had many friends that she loved and we know loved her.The family would love to thank all the staff at 1 Ross & 1 West at Lourdes Hospital for all your care and compassion with mom. You were wonderful with her as well as all of us, Thank You! We will forever love and miss you mom. Until we meet again……… A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
