Obituary of Carole Decker

Carole (Benninghoff) Decker was born June 19,1943 in Abington, PA, and went to be with the LORD on February 5, 2025. She grew up in Hatboro, PA and graduated from Lincoln College Preparatory School, Philadelphia, PA. Carole spent most of her career in the health care field as a Home Care Specialist, working in Pennsylvania and Delaware. Carole has always enjoyed antiques and antique jewelry. She owned and operated Carole's Country Cabin, Dushore, PA from 2008 to 2010. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star for 28 years in Maryland. Carole and her husband Ronald, moved to Owego, NY in 2013 and moved to Apalachin, NY in 2016. Carole had a great love for animals and was an active supporter of Happy Tails No Kill Animal Shelter, Towanda, PA . She was also an active supporter of Willow Wings Animal Sanctuary, Inc., 30 Kay Road, Endwell, NY 13760. Carole also had a great love for gardening and her poodles. Carole was preceded in death by her two sons, Robert on March 6,1996 and John Oct 1, 2011. She is survived by her husband Ronald and her granddaughter Carole Perez Benninghoff, Hemet, CA, stepson Scott N. Decker, Bryans Road, MD, stepdaughter Jennifer Decker, Phelps, NY, and stepdaughter Ann Miller, Suffolk, VA. Contributions may be made to Willow Wings Animal Sanctuary in memory of Carole.
