Obituary of Joanne H. Apalovich

    Joanne H. (Yeager) Apalovich, of Binghamton, 79, passed away on Sunday March 9, 2025 at Riverview Nursing Center. She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon Apalovich, her sister, Mary Margaret (Yeager) Fowler, her nephew Andrew J. Yeager, and her parents, William Yeager and Helen (Muggleton) Yeager. She is survived by her brother, Andrew W. Yeager, her nieces Margaret Fowler, Julianne Fowler, Laura (Fowler) Biener, Erin (Yeager) Milks and Jillian Fowler Stafford, along with her nephew Cody Yeager.

    Joanne retired from daycare center work, where she enjoyed taking care of children following years of factory work in her youth. During her retirement, she had fun driving around town in her car, searching for bargains and visiting friends & family. She loved dancing, wearing bright lipstick, laughing heartily at old family stories and shared jokes. Joanne was authentic and outspoken with a heart of true gold.

    A funeral service will be held at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, 300 East Main Street, Endicott, on Sunday March 23, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home that day from 2:00 p.m. until the 3:00 p.m. time of the service. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery on Monday March 24, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
