Obituary of Thomas A. Wallan

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Thomas Anthony Wallan, age 85, of Owego, New York. He passed away from pneumonia on March 13th at Rober Packer Hospital surrounded by family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at Coleman and Daniels on Saturday March 22nd 2pm.

Visitation will be held at Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main Street, Endicott, on March 22. Open casket visitation will be held for immediate family members from 11:30 to 12:00. Then will be open to public from 12:00 to 1:00. Those with children or wish for visitation with a closed casket are invited to join us from 1 to 2 pm. Service to Follow. Suits not required (that wasn't Tom), but please leave the camo or hunter clothing for the celebration.)

Burial will be on April 26th at noon at Hope Cemetery, Newark Valley.

A celebration of Life will be held at Waterman's tasting room at 6172 NY 434, Apalachin, NY. Starting at 4pm. We welcome all who knew him. He has left a void in all our hearts and will be deeply missed. So please share your memories with us, there will be a memory box, we wish to add them to our album.

Thomas was born in Endicott to Earl Wallan and Anna (Faber) on December 15th, 1939. He went to Union Endicott Hight School and later worked as a mechanical Engineer for Amphenol for 34 yrs before retiring. He enjoyed fixing things as well as Boating and Hunting with his friends and grandsons. He Cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joyce (Story) of Sempronius, children: Donna, Darlene, Thomas, Diana, Todd and Denise; 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Earl and Anna Wallan.
