Obituary of Maxwell L. Kintner
Maxwell Louis Kintner
Vestal, New York August 3, 2002 – April 3, 2025
22 years old
Maxwell was the light in any room he walked into. He embodied kindness, adventure, and an infectious zest for life, along with a magnetic personality that inspired everyone around him. If you knew Max, you loved Max. He was full of life and never wasted a moment here on Earth. Maxwell had a strong faith, which brings us so much comfort to know he is now with our Heavenly Father.
He was always up for anything. He loved nothing more than being outside—enjoying deer hunting and fishing with his Grandpa, Dad, and brother. You could also find him bowling, snowboarding, weight lifting, or just playing a pickup game of basketball with his buddies. Maxwell was the biggest goofball, always entertaining us with his crazy antics. If you were lucky enough to get one of his hugs, you knew he was the best hugger. He could not be near you without touching you—and as annoying as that was, deep down, nobody ever minded. Maxwell was very driven; he worked hard and played hard. He loved with his whole heart.
Maxwell adored his family. He was a cherished son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He is survived by his loving parents, Walter and Kristen Kintner; his adoring siblings: brother Walter IV, sister Meaghan and her husband Eric Cady, sister Karly and her husband Stefan Tataryn; his beloved niece Brooke and nephew Wyatt Cady; grandparents Patricia and Walter Kintner; aunts, uncles, and a long line of close-knit cousins. Maxwell leaves behind many incredible friends—too many to name—who will continue to carry his memory forward and look after Maxwell's parents and siblings. He also leaves behind the one true love of his life, Carly Rose Columbia.
Maxwell graduated from Vestal High School in 2021. While at Vestal, he played basketball, football, and lacrosse, touching the hearts of many teachers and coaches along the way. Maxwell then attended SUNY Delhi in the HVAC program. He graduated and moved right into a job at ANC, where he made many great friends among his coworkers. Maxwell was determined to one day own his own company and make it big!
The Kintner home has always been known as a haven of fun and laughter, hugs, good snacks, and open conversations. Though we mourn the life he didn't get to live, we will forever cherish his bright light, deep friendships, and the goodness he brought to our lives.
We will miss him beyond words, but his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 11th from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at New Life Ministries Church, 201 Hill Ave, Endicott, NY. A service will immediately follow at 4:00PM.
