There were so many good memories! I remember Grandma Connie getting antique swimsuits out for us to wear so we could swim in her pool, she even had the big rubber swim caps to keep our hair back. I remember her love for antiques, the Lake Worth Flea Market was a fav spot in the late 70’s. My mom told us a story about her and Chip, Grandma Connie and Frank hiking up Mt. Denali in Alaska. They missed the last bus out and spent the night in an abandoned railroad car. Grandma Connie was tough, but equally tender hearted. She had a way of making even a difficult day seem like a step in the right direction.
