James Bruce Titus, 55, of Vestal, NY went into the loving arms of his savior our Lord Jesus Christ on May 14th 2025. He was predeceased by his loving parents Emory and Elsie Titus, brother Gary Titus, brother in law Bruce Kelley , and sister in law Janet Titus. He is survived by his loving family, Carolyn and Ted Hurlibut of Simpsonville SC, David and Sandra Titus of Endicott, NY, Peggie and Steven Webb of Murietta, California, Greg Titus of Woonsocket RI, Emory and Renee Titus of Endicott, NY, and Richard and Carolyn Titus of Greene, NY. Jim also has many nieces and nephews that he loved and appreciated. Jim faced many challenges in his life but was resilient and strong and faced all his challenges head on and always made it through those challenges. Jim always trusted in God to get him through lifes challenges and always believed in the power of prayer. Jim attended Union Endicott schools and lived in the Triple cities areas his entire life. Jim was a member of and attended the Endicott Community Church of the Nazarene. Jim lived a simple private life and spent a lot of time at home but he loved his home and his independence. Jim had one special friend Scott who was always kind to Jim and caring and helpful and Jim really valued that friendship. Jim enjoyed celebrating his birthday each year and Christmas and Thanksgiving. Jim so appreciated the cards he would get on his birthday and Christmas with the gift cards for burger king or dunkin coffee, and when the family rallied together so Jim could get his hot water tank replaced. All of Jims brothers and sisters in so many different ways were always there for Jim and Jim cherished that. Jims favorite food was pizza and he loved having angel food cake with chocolate frosting on his birthday. Jim will be missed by all but the memories will last forever. Jim is finally at peace and no longer suffering or fighting any battles and is with our loving parents and his brother and other family members who have passed on. A word of thanks to the people at Catholic charities who worked with Jim for many years and the kind and caring staff at UHS Wilson hospital as well as Broome Oncology. Also to Pastor Keith Hardy and the Endicott Community Church of the Nazarene for all the support and prayers. Calling hours will be at Coleman and Daniels funeral home in Endicott with Pastor Keith Hardy officiating on May 29th from 11-12 with the funeral following 12-1 and burial at Vestal Hills cemetery immediately following the funeral.
