Obituary of MaryAnn Corpe

MaryAnn (Swinehart) Corpe, 79, of Apalachin, NY and longtime resident of Florida, died Tuesday May 27, 2025 at 10:35 pm at Lourdes/ Guthrie Hospital, Binghamton, NY.

Born in Lock Haven, PA on October 14, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Emerson and Encie (Shope) Swinehart. MaryAnn was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Fuller, with whom she enjoyed many years with in Florida. She retired from AT&T, where she spent the majority of her career as a computer tech. MaryAnn's favorite role was that of a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed by many as she touched lives from PA to FL.

MaryAnn was an avid reader and housed a library of books that she loved sharing with family. She also loved crime dramas and was willing to share this addiction with anyone who wanted to listen! She is survived by her daughters Cynthia Wheeland with whom she shared a home and Pamela Ergott (Gay Bartlebaugh) of South Williamsport, PA. MaryAnn is also survived by 2 granddaughters, Kimberly Rhea of Jersey Shore, PA and Brittany (Michael) Stein of Aspers, PA; 4 great granddaughters, Lilly & Lailyn Rhea and Ava & Emma Stein. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Debra.

We cannot close without mentioning her faithful canine companion, Teddy! Teddy was always sitting with MaryAnn as she read or watched TV. He would dance for her attention if he thought she was ignoring him! He will miss her just as much as the rest of the family!

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
