Obituary of Elda Rose Bleir

Elda Rose Bleir 103, of Binghamton, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 31, 2025 with her family by her side. She was born in Morristown, NJ on Jan. 11, 1922. Elda was predeceased by her loving husband John (Jack) Bleir. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Greg and Mary Bleir of Vestal and daughter and son-in-law Debi and Steve Simmons of Binghamton. Eight grandchildren, Shea (Alison) Bigsby, Courtney Spivey, Nathan Simmons, Graham (Madison) Bigsby, Izzy Bleir, Matthew (Heather) Simmons, Gavin Bleir, Maryka Bleir. Five great grandchildren, Truman and Teddy Bigsby, Damon and Camdyn Spivey, and Avery Bigsby, and several special nieces and nephews Elda was a homemaker who loved cooking and gardening. She had a smile for everyone and was kind and loving. A celebration of life will be conducted on Saturday July 12, 2025 at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St. Endicott, NY 13760. The family will receive friends and family from 10:00am until the time of the service at 12:00pm. The family would like to thank Elizabeth Church Manor nurses and aides for providing such great care.
