

Obituary of Cynthia W. Tedeschi
Cynthia "Cyndi" L. Whitehead Tedeschi, 73, of Greene, NY went to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 8th following an illness.
She was happily married to her loving husband, Joseph Tedeschi for 22 years. She was the epitome of honesty and kindness, always ready to offer encouragement, support and love.
She was a very active member of the United Methodist Church in Greene, NY and the First United Methodist Church in Endicott, NY, where she volunteered tirelessly for many years.
Cyndi is preceded in death by her mother, Helen Rebich Whitehead. She is survived by her father, Carlton Whitehead; husband, Joseph Tedeschi; three sisters, Kathy (Dave) Goff, Lorie Whitehead (Don Fraser), Annette (Bill) Storr; two sons, Matthew (Wendy) Tyler, Scott (Jennifer) Tyler; seven grandchildren, ShirleeJae Illsley, NancyLea (Derek) Goedeker, Joshua Tyler (Miranda), Zachary Tyler (Sierra), Kaleb Tyler, Thomas Tyler, Donald Tyler, and one great grandchild, Jaxon Tyler.
Cyndi was a homemaker extraordinaire, a loving wife, wonderful mother, doting grandmother and an amazing, special friend of too many to mention. She also had a lifelong career as a dedicated and compassionate nurse, touching countless lives throughout her years of service. She volunteered for many organizations and always kept busy with quilting, baking with her grandchildren, sewing, reading, doing puzzles, traveling, and helping others. She mostly loved to scrap-book and was recently working on one for a family reunion entitled "The Love of a Family is Life's Greatest Blessing." She loved having gatherings for her family and cherished each family member unconditionally.
Her family wishes to express special thanks to Dr. Malkin with whom she used to work, and Kathy Goff who worked as a nurse at Lourdes Hospital.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to a charity of your choice or to the First United Methodist Church, Greene, NY.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at the First United Methodist Church, 32 South Chenango Street, Greene, NY. The family will be present to receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The celebration of life service to follow with Rev. Michele Cook officiating.
