I worked with Jessica briefly at willow point. I was a brand new CNA and scared of everything. I suffered a great loss in my family right before my shift one day and I will never forget Jess pulling me aside to hug me and cry with me. She said (in simpler words) to cry until you can’t, but to keep showing up every single day no matter what, for the ones who can’t anymore. She told me that to continue to live and grow was the best tribute we can offer to those we’ve lost. Jessica changed my life that day. I’ve gone through many losses since, and every heavy moment during my grieving, I have remembered this conversation and it has made the dark days feel a little bit brighter.
Although Jessica and I did not continue a personal friendship after my departure from the willow point staff, I will continue to carry this memory for life.
I truly hope that my message can bring some comfort to Jessica’s family and friends at this time, and I am so deeply sorry for this great loss.

My heart is broken… She was such a sweet girl with a wonderful sense of humor and a beautiful smile. I pray that her soul has found peace. And I am so terribly sorry for your great loss.
