William (Bill) A. Hanley Jr, 88 drew his last breath on June 26, 2025 at Guthrie Lourdes Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife of 57 years Jackie whom he adored until his passing. Bill is survived by three daughters: Leanne Strope, Vickie (James) Festa, and Cathie Hanley. Four grandchildren: Justin (Maggi) Strope, Patrick (Lauren) Strope, Daniel (Emily Dahlin) Festa, Katherine Festa and four great grandchildren: Annabelle, Hailey, Caleb and Easton Strope. In addition, Bill is survived by his cherished German Shepherd Missie and his good friend John Wazenski.

Bill graduated from Grove City College in Grove City, Pa with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was very proud to be a professional engineer (PE). He retired from Anitec after many years.

Bill was an avid golfer; he loved golfing with his grandsons. He enjoyed working outside and had many projects throughout the years.

Bill enjoyed his breakfasts at the Blue Dolphin with friends where he was spoiled by the waitresses (esp. Sue).
