Doris Kruppa Miles passed away, peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on July 5, 2025. Doris is survived by her husband of 27 years, Clayton Miles. Doris was predeceased by her parents, Sabin and Lillian Baird, and her siblings Barbara Sciarrino, James Baird, Robert Baird and Ed Baird. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Wolfgang Kruppa. Doris is survived by her children, Kristal (John) Clement, Frank (Andrea) Kruppa and her stepson, Bryan Miles. She is also survived by her 2 grandchildren and her 2 favorite people in the world, Austin Clement and Lillian (Lily) Kruppa. She is also survived by her beloved sister-in-law, Julie Baird. Doris is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews and their families. She is also survived by her step-granddaughter, Cassidy Miles.

Doris was born September 6, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY. She moved up to Windsor, NY after marriage and happily raised her 2 children. While raising her children, she loved to garden, hay, chop wood and raise cows, chickens and pigs. Most of all, Doris loved her family above everything. She kept in touch and brought everyone together often. Doris will be greatly missed by the many people whose lives she touched.

The family will receive family and friends at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home at 765 Main Street, Vestal, on Thursday, July 10, from 10 am to 12 noon, with a prayer service immediately following. Interment will be directly after at Vestal Hills Memorial Park in Vestal. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mercy House Hospice Care at 212 N. McKinley Avenue, Endicott, NY 13760.
