Glenda S. Russell

October 25, 1946 -July 16, 2025

Glenda (Richardson) Russell of Little Meadows passed away peacefully on July 16th 2025, with her loving husband of 58 years, Jack T. Russell, Sr. sitting by her side.

Born in Angleton, Brazoria County, Texas, October 25, 1946. Glenda was the daughter of the late Oliver and Miltal Richardson. After meeting and marrying Jack she moved to Little Meadows, were she lived for the remainder of her days.

She is predeceased by her brother Larry Richardson and sister Barbara Richardson. Step father – Gradie Shoemate and brother-in-law- Michael Brown. In laws- Franklin and Mildred Russell. Brother-in-law William (Marilyn) Russell, James Russell, and Gleason Brewer. Sister in laws, Nancy Lynch, Sally Brewer, Linda Russell, and Patricia White.

Glenda worked at several places, including Endicott Johnson, SCI, and Lockheed Martin. Glenda was always proud of the work she did. She loved crafts and making homemade crafts for other people.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. She will be dearly missed by all.

She is survived by her husband Jack T. Russell Sr., 3 children and their spouses. Michelle (Missy) T. Sebastian (Fred), Jennifer S.Hayner (Tim), and Jack T. Russell Jr. (Nicole). 5 grandchildren, Susan Michael (Richie), Matthew Hayner (Janine), Hayley Russell, Jordan Russell, and Jack F. Russell. Also, one great- grandchild- Eloise J. Hayner. Brother- Jerald Richardson (Nancy), Sister- Lois Brown, brother-in-law Richard Lynch, and sister-in-law Pat Russell. Special cousin Susan Daley (Vern).

The family would like to thank the staff at Meadow View Healthcare & Rehab and Hospice Compassion Care in Montrose, Pa.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, July 23rd at Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home in Vestal, NY. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-12.
