Steven D. Frost | 1960 – 2025

Steven D. Frost, 64, went home to Jesus on August 14, 2025 at his home in Vestal, NY. Steven was born to Boyd and Beverly Frost on December 29, 1960 in Johnson City, NY. As a child, he excelled in school and played saxophone in the school band. He graduated from Johnson City High School in 1979, Broome Community College in 1982, and worked at GE Westover, then IBM from 1984 to 2016. He was a Vestal Crossing Guard for ten years. Steven was a member of Valleyview Alliance Church. He enjoyed building and flying model airplanes, Amateur (Ham) radio (KB2VCM), and daily walks with the family dogs. Steven is survived by his wife, Marsha, of 42 years, daughters Amber (Jim) Thayer of Lafayette, NY and Elaine (Steve) Galambos of Pittston, PA. He is survived by his two treasured granddaughters, Marjorie and Jane and his brothers David, Rodney, and Nathan (Amy) and their children, Caleb and Grace. He was predeceased by his parents and grandparents. Calling hours will be held Thursday, August 28 from 11-1 at Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home (Main St. Vestal) with services to follow and interment at Vestal Hills Cemetery.
