William R. Aten Obituary

William R. Aten (Bill or Morty), 71, of Binghamton passed away peacefully on Friday Sept 5, 2025. He was predeceased by his parents, Harry R. Aten and Betty J. Aten. He is survived by his brother Barry Aten of Endicott, as well as several cousins and very close friends. Bill was a graduate of Union-Endicott High School, was a self-taught cartoonist who enjoyed people, cats, classic monster movies, and all sorts of music. One of Bill's fondest memories was meeting Charles Schulz. Bill enjoyed his last several months living at the St. Louise Manor assisted living facility, and the family would like to thank the staff for their compassionate care.



A graveside service and burial will be held at the Riverhurst Cemetery on Friday 9/19 at 11am. To honor Bill's memory please consider helping a friend or neighbor or perform a random act of kindness.
