It is with heavy hearts we share the news of the passing of our matriarch, Theresa Marie Correll.

Born to Marie and Manford Steenburg on March 24, 1937, in Endicott, NY, the oldest of 5 siblings, she was sadly pre-deceased by all her siblings and both parents.

She will be remembered for her boldness, bravery, kindness, and inquiring mind. Theresa was very studious, awarded valedictorian of her Union Endicott High School class in 1955, as well as being captain of her cheerleading squad and playing clarinet in marching band. She had a love for music, romance films, was a skilled seamstress, and did advanced upholstery work.

Theresa was very proud of her 40+ year career in dental hygiene. She said her favorite part was meeting new people. She practiced dentistry in the US Navy Reserves, reenlisting more than once, before retiring in December 1998.

Theresa loved raising her family and was a dedicated, supportive parent and grandmother. She is survived by her 3 children: Ellen (Larry) Coppola, Ray Hawley, and Kelly (Allen) Cone, her 6 grandchildren: Jessica (Tammy) Cone, Shawna (Sean) Cone, Melissa Cone, Corey (Daniella) Coppola, Sarah (Michael) Reitz, and her 9 great-grandchildren: Annalise, Rosalie, Izabella, Evangeline, Azalynn, Levi, Ayla, Mateo, Katieri, and many nieces and nephews.

She will be missed by her New Life Church family, many friends, and her loving & loyal furry companion, Teddy.

At Theresa's request there will be a celebration of life held at The American Legion- Post 1700 (305 Maple St. Endicott, NY 13760) on October 4, 2025, from 3-6pm. A final honors salute will take place promptly at 3:30pm.
