Jean Weber Warfield Obituary

Jean Weber Warfield, a faithful servant of Jesus Christ went to her heavenly home on the 18th day of October 2025.


Jean was born and raised in Johnson New York and graduated from Union Endicott High School, Class of '49. Jean had a kind, loving and gentle spirit. She was a devout Christian, a faithful wife, a loving mother, an exceptional sister and a wonderful grandmother. Jean cherished family gatherings, and summer vacations with extended family and friends. She spent her free time square dancing, doing bible studies, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.


Jean was predeceased by her loving and faithful husband of 49 years, Richard John Warfield, her eldest child Darlene Lucia Hicks, her sister Barbara Iosbt, and her grandson Jay Lucia.


Jean is survived by daughters Valerie Warfield, Donna Ambra (Kenneth), and son Richard K. Warfield (Katherine), brothers Robert Weber (Dawn), Norm Weber (Yvonne), Glen Weber (Rita), grandchildren Eddie Lucia (Vicki), Andrea Warner (Ryan), Mathew Fiori, Melisa Keech, Brian Keech (Haley), Lang Charters (Lisa), Leia McCoy (Erick), and great grandchildren Kato Charters, Devin, Riley, Ethan, Myzel, Aydin, Shydea, and Harper McCoy, Alexa and Hali Lucia, Alanna and Eliza Keech, Aiden and Eli Warner.


With a heart of gratitude, the family extends a special thank you to cousin Jeff Kellam (Joan), nephew Kurt Weber (Julia), Cheryl Fedich Jeans aide, and longtime family friend and mom's 'adopted' daughter Debbie O'Hare, for the many years of faithful love and tender care they bestowed upon her. Mom cherished every minute she had with you all. Thank you!


The family also acknowledges Ideal Living Center (independent living) staff for the tremendous support, care and friendship to mom over the past ten years. Thank you Robin, Nancy, and Dr. Eisenburg.


Lastly, a very special thank you from our mom and the family to Guthrie Lourdes Hospice of Binghamton NY, and to Mercy House Endicott NY and to all the volunteers who selflessly loved Jean to the very last moment.


Jeans memorial service is 11 am on November 1, 2025 at Colemand and Daniels Funeral Home, 300 Main St., Endicott NY. 13760.


In honor of Jean, the family wishes all donations to go to the Mercy House, 212 N. Mickinley Ave., Endicott NY. 13760.
