Lee Thomas McCoy, Jr. Endwell, New York DOB 02/17/1941-11/04/202584yrs.Lee, also known as Tommy to his siblings and Mac by his AirForce buddies, was the stereotypical "strong, silent type", with a dry sense of humor. His drive and motivation were examples to all those around him, especially his children. Well-read and self-taught, Lee advanced from machine maintenance at IBM Endicott to Computer Programming Dept. Manager and Recruiter, at IBM Glendale, all without a college degree. Lee did not make decisions lightly. He applied the same deep investigational queries into all aspects of his life, including his faith journey and his conversion to Catholicism. As a staunch defender of Life, from conception to natural death, Lee was involved with many organizations including Chairperson of Broome County Right to Life, Contributed to Birthright of Binghamton, and Board of Directors of Mom's House of NY. Deep friendships and bonds grew out of his commitment to the Pro-Life movement. Lee's family would like to thank Guthrie Hospice for their round the clock care and support. We will be forever grateful. Lee is survived by his wife of 62yrs and 8mo., Patricia, their 4 children, 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Daughter Colleen and her children: Alex, Thomas (Alesha), Trea (Zachary), Colin, Liam (Amina), Maeve; Son Sean and daughter Alexis; son Erin, his wife Erica and their children: Kyleigh, Ian, Evan, Addison; son Kerry, his wife Shannon and their children: Reagan and Calvin. 1 Great grandson Aiden (Alex); His 3 siblings Lonnie (Kaye)Richardson, Gail Ellen, Steven (Linda)Richardson; his in-laws Joseph (Nancy) Fournier, Linda Fournier, Gregory (Patricia)Fournier, Thomas (Jeannine)Fournier, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Lee T. McCoy, Sr., Step-Mother Margaret McCoy; Mother Dorothy Richardson, Step-Father Donald Richardson, and Step-Step Mother Susan Richardson. Lee graduated from Jackson High School, 1959. Lee is a Veteran of the United States Air Force, Airman 1st class E-4, having served 4yrs and 9months.Lee received his sacraments at Christ the King Church Endwell NY, and then was a communicant of St. James Parish Johnson City, NY Lee enjoyed multiple hobbies including photography, model building, and bowling. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday November 8,2025 at 11 AM at St James Church,147 Main St, Johnson City. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home LLC,300 East Main St, Endicott from 5-7 PM In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lee's honor, to Mom's House
