Douglas Stuart Reynolds, age 66, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home, surrounded by family, on November 27th, 2025.

Doug was born on September 2, 1959 in Endicott, New York, to Stuart and Shirley Reynolds, née Cooper. He was raised on his family's multigenerational farm on Dutchtown Rd. Doug graduated from Maine-Endwell High School in 1978.

In 1993, Doug married Wendy Reynolds, (Fluke). In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Christopher Hanrahan (Megan), Brooke Allen (Duran), Shane Reynolds, and Paige Reynolds. He was a devoted grandfather to Zoey and Evie Hanrahan, Nova Reynolds, and Isla and Sawyer Allen, a role he cherished deeply.

Doug owned and operated Reynolds Septic Service for over 30 years, building the company through hard work, reliability, and a strong commitment to his community. His work ethic was unmatched. He retired in 2011, having earned the respect of clients and colleagues alike.

Doug was known for his unwavering loyalty to friends, family, and community. He was honest, dependable, and quick to lend a hand in any capacity. A good neighbor and man of his word, encompassing the pillars of his Christian faith, he prided himself on following through and always doing what he said he would. He never missed a game, concert, dance recital, or any of the other activities his children were involved it. Doug was also an avid and talented gardener; propagating and growing many types of plants and creating landscapes with an artistic eye. In his recent post-retirement, Doug served his community as the groundskeeper at the Maine Cemetary where he easily and naturally made new and valued friendships and felt pride in his work there.

Doug will be remembered for his strong work ethic, love of family, and pride in the life he built. His presence as a husband, father, grandfather, and friend leaves a lasting mark on all who knew him.

Services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
