Harold C. Brown, 92, a longtime resident of Newark Valley, NY, passed away peacefully at his home on December 13, 2025, with his family by his side.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Christine Brown; his daughter, Kathy Cooper; and his brothers, Richard and Robert Brown.

Harold leaves behind his children: Dawn (Brad) Coston of Jacksonville, FL; David Brown of Newark Valley, NY; Robert Brown of Syracuse, NY; Sheri Titus of Pickerington, OH; Holly (Todd) Jacobs of Smithville Flats, NY; Steven (Michelle) Brown of Kirkwood, NY; and Harold "Skip" Brown of Duluth, GA.

He was a loving grandfather to 24 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

An avid hunter, Harold most enjoyed time spent with his family. His faithful dog, Tanner, was rarely far from his side and remained his constant companion until Tanner's passing last year.

Harold served honorably in the National Guard and was a proud member of the Teamsters Union for more than 53 years, including many years as a Union Steward, where he was known for his integrity, dedication, and willingness to stand up for others.

In keeping with Harold's wishes, no services will be held.
