Ricky Earl Davis Sr., 68, of Lawton, PA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his children and wife on December 22, 2025. Born in Endicott, NY September 15, 1957 to Edward and Doris Davis and a graduate of Union Endicott High school class of 1975. Ricky was proud to be a UE Tiger attending his 50-year class reunion this July.
Ricky's professional career was marked by his dedication and hard work. He spent over 20 years at Procter and Gamble before joining Williams Companies where he had been looking forward to retirement this upcoming year.
An avid outdoorsman, Ricky turned his passion for hunting into a second calling by founding his guide service Team GSP with his beloved dogs Rocket and Brownie and guided many hunts at local preserves. Along with his professional career he was deeply committed to giving back to the community by volunteering his time with veteran organizations such as camp freedom and Hunts for Healing. His greatest joy, however, was guiding youth hunts and mentoring the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts. To honor his enduring legacy, his friends Matt and Karin of Shaddick Valley game birds will host an annual Ricky Davis youth hunt.
Ricky was also a fixture in the local racing community, a journey that began in the Tiger Class when he was only 16 yrs old. Over the decades he competed at Penn Can, Thunder Mountain, Dun Hill, 5 Mile Point, Shangri-La Speedway Skyline drive. Collecting many trophies throughout time is proof of his long-time dedication to his first passion, Ricky was inducted into the Penn Can Hall of Fame November 2025.
Ricky is survived by his brother, Mark Davis; his wife, Brenda Davis whom he married in 2018; children Ricky Davis Jr. (Lisa); Heather Schultz (Evan); Sarah Truesdail (Martin); Richard Cornell, Brianna Marshall, William Bullis, and Sophia Murwin. Ricky has 14 grandkids and 11 great-grandkids with 3 on the way.
Funeral services will be held at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 East Main Street, Endicott NY. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The service will begin at 12 with Pastor William Hampton officiating. Following the services, the family would also like to invite everyone to Colesville Fire Station at 4pm 1305 Colesville Road Binghamton NY 13904 to celebrate Ricky's life and accomplishments.
