David Charles Cook was born June 18, 1950 and peacefully passed away December 25, 2025 at the age of 75 from a long term illness.

He is survived by his daughter Angela Cook and grandson Dezmond Martin. Also his nephew Peter Cook and his daughters Morgan and Samantha. David is predeased by his mother Eleanor Mae Cook and father Charles Thomas Cook and brother Robert Cook. He comes from a large extended family also predeased by many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

The family would like to give a big thank you to all the staff at Bridgewater that tended to and loved David as well. He was kind and liked to refer to people by name and would enjoy pleasant conversations with everyone he met.

In his younger years he was a self taught drummer and played in numerous bands. He also made oil paintings that his daughter recently displayed in her art exhibit. His favorite hobby was reading books on all types of subjects. David was also a well know chocolate lover. Most of all he loved being a father and giving advice to his daughter and treated his nurses like family as well. He will be deeply missed and most remembered for his gentle kind spirit. He fought a long battle and is now free to guide from above.

"Everything I am is because of you." last said to him by his "one and only" daughter Angela. He chose her name and proudly told that story to many. Rest in peace David I love you my Dad.
