Kay (Gilda) Tompkins of Vestal N.Y.

Kay Tompkins, 92 of Vestal, was born October 28 1933, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 8th 2026, with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert C. Tompkins; her parents Francis and Irene Dean. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Jack deceased) Kizis, Pittston, Pa.;sons, Robert and Carrie Tompkins, Vestal; Raymond and Debbie Tompkins,Vestal, 11 grandchildren, Raymond (Beth)Tompkins, Brian (Kati) Tompkins, Richard (Melanie) Tompkins, Zachery (Tori) Tompkins, Kelsey (Colby) Chapman, Erin Cumming, all of Vestal, Robert Kizis, David (Jaylin) Kizis, Cary Kizis, Chris (Tricha) Bunting, Colleen Judy all of Pittston Pa; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Kyle, Liam, Luca, Addie, Bennet, Poppy, Alleesha Bunting, Brenden Scheib; Kinsey Kizis. She graduated from Union Endicott High School and worked at Lourdes hospital for many years as a staffing coordinator. The family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Vestal Park Rehabilitation Center for treating our mom like family. They showed her compassion, kindness and love.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 15th from 5-7 PM at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 East Main St., Endicott. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
