Lillian M Johnson (Polly) passed away peacefully at home on January 4, 2026. She was predeceased by her husband, Duane, Sister’s Rachel Snow and Annie Deferrio. She is survived by her son, Wade and Debra Johnson. She was also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren she loved dearly; Brandi Johnson, Tim & Kendra McMahon, Amber & Lance (Kiaunna, Kashawna, & Sabrina.), Erin & John Mayer (Madyson & Elyzabeth.) She is also survived by her sister Robin and Joel Vermont, several nieces and nephews and her brother in laws Rick Snow and Edward Zimmer. She retired from UHS Wilson hospital and worked at Vestal American Legion Post 89. She was also a member at Vestal Center Redman’s Kickapoo Tribe, No. 347.  She had a passion for life and she loved working outdoors in her flowers bed and taking long walks and reading. When Polly and Rachel got together, wherever they went, they left a trail of enlightment that affected everyone they encountered on their journey. Polly brought laughter everywhere she went and she will be dearly missed. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Guthrie Lourdes hospice for their care and passion they provided for Polly. In lieu of donations please consider donating to Guthrie Lourdes Hospice. There will be no services, there will be a possible celebration of life in the near future.
