Rebecca Sue Kozecke - Fetcho, 74, of Endicott, NY, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026. She was born to the late Walter and Marylou Kozecke on October 14, 1951 and joins her sister, Emalie Williams; her daughter, Elena Barton; her grandson, Anthony Jackson; and her nephew Joey Hammerle in heaven.

She is survived by her siblings Walt (Marilyn) Kozecke, Chris (Diane) Kozecke, Anita (John) Bartlett, Wendi Kozecke-Hammerle; her sons Ralph Barton Jr (Nadine Kaschak) and Luke (Sarah) Fetcho; her cherished grandchildren, LeighAnn Worthley (Earlwin Barr), Collin Worthley, Shayla Jackson, Crew & Gemma Fetcho; her great grandchildren Caiden & Haven Barr; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Rebecca graduated from Union Endicott High School in 1969 and later went on to earn her Master's Degree in Psychology from Binghamton University. Upon graduation, Rebecca dedicated over 20 years of service to Broome County, where her compassion, insight, and commitment to helping others left a lasting mark.

Rebecca loved baking, cooking, crafting, and gardening, and she poured that same love and creativity into everything she did. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and cherished her lunch dates and antiquing trips with the girls. What most will remember about her was her selflessness and the way she always put others first. She had a rare gift for knowing when someone needed a hug or a little extra love—often before they knew it themselves. Always bubbly, sometimes a little goofy, but forever genuine, Rebecca brought warmth and laughter wherever she went, even if she somehow always found the longest way home.

Rebecca will be laid to rest in a private service at Vestal Hills Cemetery, and a celebration of life will be held later this summer, when family and friends can gather to honor and remember her.
