Joyce Bassos passed away unexpectedly on April 22nd 2026 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by her parents George and Mary Bassos, and sister-in-law Patricia Ann Bassos. She is survived by her brother George Bassos Jr, her niece Robin Clouthier, DeDe (Dave) Stephens, Sally Huyck. Special family friends, Dave (Elaine), Isabella and Rusty (De) Witcher. Joyce was a former Employee of Endicott Johnson, and later Binghamton University. She was a quiet, kind person, who never had a bad word for anyone. If you needed someone to listen to your problems, she was a good listener, and the first one to help you if she could. Her life was one of many challenges. Her faith in God and people will be our memories of her. God bless you, may you rest in peace, and know that you're leaving this earth for a better place. Per Joyce's request, there will be no services. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery.
