Carol A. Newman March 24, 1944 – April 25, 2026

Carol A. Newman, 82, of Little Meadows, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026. Born in Dover, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Madaline and Otis Volke.Carol was predeceased by her loving husband of fifty-five years, David Newman, with whom she shared a lifetime of adventures, from traveling the world to enthusiastically cheering on their grandchildren at sporting events. Their partnership was the foundation of a life centered on love, laughter, and family.She was a devoted and loving mother to Alicia (John) Nolt and Alison (Steven Martin) Newman, and was predeceased by her son, Darren Newman. Carol took immense pride and joy in her role as grandmother to Clover and Wesley Martin and Carl and Isaac Nolt, rarely missing an opportunity to support, celebrate, and spend time with them. She is also survived by her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Gary Newman, along with many nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly.Carol enjoyed a long and successful career as a Sales Executive for various quilting publications, concluding her professional journey with All American Crafts, Inc. in Newton, NJ. She was a natural salesperson and built meaningful and lasting friendships throughout the world within the quilting community.She and her husband David shared a love of travel, especially enjoying cruises throughout the Caribbean and Europe. Closer to home, Carol took great pride in the home they built together on Lake O' Meadows, where she created a welcoming space for family and friends. Many cherished memories were made there, filled with laughter, good food and wine, and time spent together.Carol will be remembered for her sense of humor, her enthusiastic energy, and her unwavering devotion to her family.Family and friends are invited to calling hours at Little Meadows United Methodist Church on Thursday, April 30, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., and Friday, May 1, from 12:30 p.m to 1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m.
