It is with profound sadness that the family of Charles (Chuck) H Stephens, announces his passing on April 28, 2026.



Charles was born in Sayre, PA on November 21, 1941, to Harold Clarence and Vera Mable (Brungess) Stephens. He is survived by his children: Christine (Richard) Miner, Dawn Stephens, Bradley (Elizabeth) Stephens, stepson, Ronald (Lisa) Randall, his brother: Ralph (Darlene) Stephens, brother-in-law: Robert Tinklepaugh; 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren with another great grandson due to arrive in August and several nieces and nephews.



Charles was predeceased in death by his wife of 37 years, Ruth May and his sisters Martha Jean Harris and Laura Jean Ovens.



Charles retired from Raymond Corporation after 39 years of service. He loved to fish, hunt and bowl. In his younger years, Charles built stock cars with his former Father-in-Law, Brad Ball and his former Brother-in-Law and closest friend, Jim Ford. Every hunting season was spent with his son Brad, his father-in-law, Brad, Jim, Jim's son's, Jim and John along with a group of lifelong buddies he considered part of his family. The stories they all would tell. In recent years, Charles enjoyed fishing and boating with his son, Brad and grandson, Bradley.



The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Fresenius Kidney Care for taking such good care of him during dialysis.



The family would also like to extend their gratitude to the owner and staff at Chris' diner. Chuck couldn't wait to go to Chris' for breakfast every morning (except Monday's). Words cannot express how special you all made him feel.



At Charles' request, funeral services will be private.
