Barbara June Lounsberry, 90, of Endwell, NY, passed away on April 7, 2026 in Madison, Wisconsin.

Barbara was born in Rochester, NY to Louis E and M. Catherine LaMont on June 3, 1935. She is predeceased in death by her husband, Ernest 'Donald' Lounsberry; her mother, M. Catherine LaMont and her father, Louis E. LaMont. She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Ann Seddio, Pamela Sue (Robert) Hladik, and Sandra Lee Lounsberry (Timothy) James. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Stephen (Danielle) Seddio, Ryan Hladik, Eric Hladik, Catherine (Jordan) Rizzieri, and Louis (Mikayla) James, seven great grandchildren, two nieces, cousins, and many close friends, including David and Janet Glassman and Les and Beth Stockwell.

Barbara's family always came first while being a very active volunteer in the Endwell/Endicott community for most of her life. She was a member and president of the George H. Nichols School PTA. As a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, she contributed to many church activities, served as a Eucharistic Visitor, and served on the vestry and warden for several years. While attending St. Andrew's Anglican Church, she also served in many capacities. Barbara was a Meals on Wheels volunteer for more than 30 years. For 20 years she served as a founding member of the Endicott Housing Association and over 10 of those years were as the president of the association. For a few years, she volunteered to work at the BC Open. Her volunteer work also included being a Girl Scout leader and a chaperone for the Mello Debs and Mello Dears Drum and Bugle Corps.

Barbara was a lifetime member and Past Matron of the Round Hill Chapter #104 Order of the Eastern Star in Endicott, NY. She also served as Grand Chaplain for the New York State Order of the Eastern Star for a year.

Visitation and funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 with the assistance of Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 200 Jefferson Ave, Endicott, NY at 10:00am for a memorial service. The family would like friends to join them for a lunch at the Round Hill Lodge, 403 E Main St, Endicott at 12:00pm following a short Order of the Eastern Star service.
