Daniel Michael Klimchuck Jr. ("Dan") of Endicott, NY passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, at age 91 on May 25, 2026. Dan was born on January 20, 1935, in Plymouth, PA to parents Daniel Klimchuck Sr. and Caroline ( Tokolowski) Klimchuck. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Eve Klimchuck, daughters Teri (Joe) Gavin, Patty Klimchuck, brother Joseph Klimchuck, nieces Dee Dee Dixson and Sheila Valentino, nephews, Joe Klimchuck, Tom Klimchuck, Mark Burgett and Richie Dixson, and sister-in-law Rose Burgett. Dan was a graduate of Union-Endicott High School. He served in the US Army from 1954-1956. Upon completing his military service, he returned home to Endicott to marry his high school sweetheart, Eva Dixson, on May 4, 1957. In his early 20s, Dan began his forty plus year career in the construction industry. He worked his way up from apprentice to drafter, and subcontractor for a few local companies. Always the entrepreneur, he decided to branch out on his own and started his own company, Dan Klimchuck & Co. What began as a 2-person business, with Dan doing the drafting and estimating, and Eve handling the accounting, administrative duties, and customer relations, eventually evolved and expanded, but Dan and Eve remembered those early days as some of their best times together. Dan's passion for residential and commercial design and building continued throughout his life. Many family members were the recipients of his home renovation expertise. Dan also enjoyed traveling, especially to the Caribbean where he would play on some of the world's finest golf courses and dine in 4-star restaurants. He was also a lifelong fan of his NY teams, the Yankees and the Giants. Most importantly, he loved being with his family. He was a great husband and father and took immense pride in all that he was able to do for his family. There are no funeral services.
