Jean M. Fowler, 96, of Apalachin, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard (Fuzzy) Fowler, parents, Augustine and Dora Bishop, and 3 sisters.

She is survived by her children; Robert (Joann) Rosenkrans, Karen Monell, Kevin (Sherry) Rosenkrans, Patrick (Michele) Fowler, Cate Sirek, Terri (Scooter) Young, Anne Fowler, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, along with many other extended family.

Jean was a member of Apalachin United Methodist Church, an active member of the Vestal Elks Club, the Owego Moose Club, and served Meals on Wheels with her husband Richard. Jean retired from IBM and enjoyed bowling and golfing. She was active in all her grandchildren's games and activities. Jean was the kindest mother and grandmother.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St. Endicott, on Saturday, June 27, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Apalachin. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity of one's choice in memory of Jean.
