Ann O'Brien of Endicott, passed away on August 1st, 2026. Ann was pre- deceased by her loving husband, Gerard in 1983. She is survived by her loving family: Children, son Gerard (Mary) O'Brien of Endicott who has provided a never-ending stream of love and support for so many years, daughter Maureen of Endicott, who represents Ann's heart and greatest talents. Grandchildren who she will always be so proud of: Michele (Thomas) Sullivan and Matthew (Kelly) O'Brien and precious great grandchildren: Taylor, Tucker, Evan and Averie; Step grandchildren Nicole Roman and Tom Conrad; Step great grandchildren: Ethen Johnson and Dillon Johnson; and great-great grandson Matlee Johnson. She is also survived by her brother Michael (Mary) Hoban and extended family to include her special nieces and nephews who she loved very much.

Ann worked for the U-E School District prior to owning Copy Cat, a secretarial and copy service in Endicott. Ann will always be remembered by so many as a loving, devoted, selfless woman who was so full of life, courage, humor and compassion. She had a true talent for listening and understanding people and providing sound advice to those who confided in her. Her passion for people resulted in a huge heart for family and friends in need, routinely putting the needs of others ahead of her own.

Her compassion extended to charitable causes and she was a supporter of many nonprofit organizations. She was a proud supporter of Achieve which held a special place in her heart for their programs and clients. Ann was a devoted member of St. Ambrose Church in Endicott and volunteered her time over the years providing communion to those in need.

Ann and her family wish to express their gratitude to the staff of Susquehanna Nursing Center, especially the staff of the 3rd floor. She formed many special friendships with both the staff and the residents whose kindness and companionship brought her great comfort and joy through their daily interactions. We are forever grateful for the love and dignity with which she was cared for.

A special mass will be offered at St. Ambrose church on Thursday, August 6th at 10:30am. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30am to 10:30am prior to the mass. A private burial service will follow at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery in Archbald, PA.
