Obituary of Phyllis Carrie Jones

Phyllis C. Jones Phyllis C. Jones, 86, of Endicott, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, September 18, 2014, at Ideal Senior Living Center. She was predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Helen (McCarty) Jones and sister, Lois Jones. She is survived by daughters, Karen Ostanek, Endicott, Diane Jones and her partner Patricia Stump, Owego; sons, Alan E. Jones, Endicott, Lawrence and Eleanor Jones, Endicott; grandchildren, Lori, Tim, Kaley, and Carrie; great-grandchildren, Skyler, Jaxson and Jacob; first cousins, Louise Harris, Dorothy Steele, and Paul and Dorothy Steele. Phyllis was employed by GE in Westover for over 10 years and she enjoyed her monthly meetings of the GE Dinner Club. The family would like to thank Phyllis's caregivers from Home Instead and Family and Children's Society for their care over the years. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 300 East Main Street, Endicott. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell. The family will receive their friends on Friday (today) from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
