Obituary of Sarah Louise Beck

The last survivor of her generation, Lucille Beck passed away on June 27, 2015 at the age of 101. She lived a full life, enjoyed her family, was blessed with good health, a wonderful memory and a strong constitution. She was predeceased by her husband, Edmund; her parents, Fred and Edith Lindgren; six siblings, Irene, Grant, Hazel, Don, Doris and Herb, their spouses and son in-law, JimClubb. She is survived by her three children, Jerry (Marie) Beck, Anita Clubb and Colleen Beck, five grandchildren, Ronna (Chip) Filbin, Kelly (Pete) Troccolli, Steven (Barbara) Beck, Edmund (Karen) Beck, David (Valerie) Beck, 11 great grandchildren and 5th generation great-great granddaughter, Juniper Rose Shepherd, who was her ray of sunshine. The family would like to thank the extended Dubler and Lindgren relatives, friends, the Central United Methodist Church and close friend, Jack Sullivan for their visits, cards and photos that adorned her bulletin board. Also, a special thanks to Lucille Sider, who was always willing to sing songs with Mom and offer her spiritual guidance. And to those caregivers who worked with kindness and compassion on a daily basis. Calling hours will be held Thursday from noon to 1:30 immediately followed by a funeral service officiated by the Reverend Michael Willis at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 300 Main Street, Endicott. Entombment will follow at Vestal Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be in memory of Lucille to the charity of your choice.
