Obituary of Rosemary V. Besecker

Rosemary V. Besecker, 85, of Vestal, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday morning August 23, 2015. She was predeceased by her father, Francis McAloon, mother, Leona (Burke) McAloon, sisters, Leonore, Claire and Lillian, brother, Francis, great grandson, Rocco Gance. She is survived by her husband, Homer C. Besecker, her son, Robert (Cynthia) Besecker, daughters; Suzann (Michael) Gance, Bonnie (Michael) Guest, Karen (Daniel) Nash, grandchildren; Santino (Erin) Gance, Brandy (Bobby) Lawrence, Jason (Kelsey) Besecker, Danielle Nash, Ryan Nash, great grandchildren; Francesca, Antonia, Maya Rose, Hayden, Grant, Evan, Dean, her sister, Grace (Thomas) McAllister, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Rosemary was a faithful member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal, and was passionate about sharing her faith in Jesus with everyone in her life. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Compassionate of Spirit, she sang in the choir, volunteered at Mom's House and many local charities and organizations. Stylish and graceful she loved music, dancing and the romance of life. She will be dearly missed by her family and all those whose lives she touched. Funeral services will be held at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 765 Main St. Vestal, on Friday at 9:30am and 10am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, where a Funeral Mass will offered. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 7pm. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial contributions to Mom's House, 770 Harry L. Drive, Johnson City, NY 13790, in memory of Rosemary V. Besecker.
