Obituary of Beverly Loller

Beverly W. Loller Beverly (Whitman) Loller, age 82, died after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her parents, Ann and Duane Whitman, as well as her sister, Carol Nallon. She graduated from Vestal High School in 1949 and went on to graduate from Cortland State Teachers College in 1953. She married James W. Loller in 1955. She continued her career as a kindergarten teacher at Charles F. Johnson School, retiring to their beach home in Ogunquit, Maine in 1984. Jim and Bev spent winters in Sebring, Florida and lived there until 1997 when Jim passed away after 52 years of marriage. Beverly was an avid quilter, making quilts for all of her family and friends. She enjoyed many activities with her Highlands friends, going out to eat and spending time with "the ladies of the neighborhood ". She also enjoyed many hours watching her grandchildren's sporting events and their many lake adventures. She is survived by son, Bill Loller of Endicott; daughter, Barbara (John) Nezelek of Johnson City. She is also survived by three grandchildren Sarah, John and James Nezelek; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Our heartfelt thanks to Union EMS, UHS-Wilson, emergency department staff, Neuroscience Suite and the ST -5 staff on NW3... Just amazing care. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Laudholm Trust, 342 Laudholm Farm Road, Wells, ME 04090. At her request, there will be a private memorial service for the Highlands Community, close friends & family on Saturday, August 10th, at noon at the Highlands Club House located at 725 Lee Circle, Johnson City.
