Janie Lee Angevine left her earthly home to be with her Lord in eternal peace and joy on April 15th 2016. She was born December 14, 1920 in Marshall, NC. She was predeceased by her most beloved parents Ralph and Matilda Fisher, her cherished grandfather Zebulon Vance Fisher and her husband Richard Angevine. She is survived by a son Jeffrey Angevine, Jacksonville, FL, also by her daughter and son in law Terri and John DeSisto, who were lovingly by her side through good times and bad. Five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was a long time member of the Endwell Church Of Christ for over 53 years. Janie worked for the US Navy in Washington, DC followed by IBM and a retiree of UHS Hospital. She will forever be remembered for loving long road trips with endeared friends, crocheting, crossword and zigsaw puzzles and extensive owl collection. Most especially she was the most loyal NY Yankees fan ever, attending spring and regular season games, collecting memorabilia and never missing a game on TV. She rode in a hot air balloon for her 70th birthday and even went horseback riding in her 80's. Janie lived a devoted life to Christ and loving those close to her. She was the sweetest most adored mother ever. There will be no tears in heaven. The family wishes to thank Endwell Family Physicians, Dr. Suchet Patel and staff, as well as Ideal Senior Living Center for her loving and compassionate care these last few years. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Janie may be made to the benevolence fund at Endwell Church Of Christ 3600 Country Club Rd, Endwell, NY 13760. At Janie's request a private funeral service was provided by Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Endicott, NY.
