Obituary of Joyce Hochdoerfer

Joyce Hochdoerfer, 95, of Vestal, NY, went to be with her Lord and Savior August 21, 2023. She is survived by her son Glenn (Deanna), daughter-in-law Juanita (Michael) and three grandchildren, Kelsey Travis (Jeremy), Kyle, and Elaina. She was predeceased by parents Norman and Dorothy (Howe) Frisby, her husband George, her son Michael, and her cousin and best friend Janet (Cool) Brill. Joyce served four years in the Air Force at Andrews Air-Force Base in Washington, DC. She also served one term on the Vestal Town Board from 1985 - 1988 and following that, she served on the Vestal Zoning Board. She was an artist and loved painting, and crafting with her good friend Viv Stevens. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. A private service will be held at the Vestal Hills Cemetery.
