Obituary of James D. Newlon
James Donald Newlon, 44, of Mesa, AZ passed away unexpectedly on March 19, 2017. He was born on May 6, 1972 to Gary and Donna Newlon in Endicott, N.Y. and most recently resided in Mesa, AZ. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Donald Smith and his fraternal grandparents, Ben and Nellie Newlon. Jim is survived by his daughter Amber and son Derek of Chandler AZ, his wife Amy of Mesa, AZ, brother Tom Newlon, sister-in-law Erika Newlon, nieces Payton and Brooke Newlon of Lawrenceville GA, grandmother Jean Smith of Endicott, NY, both of his uncles Tom Smith of Stuart FL and Richard Smith of Endicott, NY, as well as a very special friend Lance Anderson. Jim loved the game of golf, watching his favorite football team the Miami Dolphins and spending time with his friends and family. Jim was charismatic, outgoing, and loved by everyone who knew him.
A Celebration of his life will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 12 noon from the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, LLC., 300 East Main St, Endicott. Father Clarence Rumble will officiate. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 10AM until service time at 12PM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to Mercy House, 212 N. McKinley Ave, Endicott, NY 13760.
