Mark Doty Obituary

Mark Doty, 59, of Endicott, passed away peacefully March 19, 2023. He was predeceased by his parents David and Ann Ellis. Mark is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Danielle and Logan McDonald; son, Brian Doty; grandsons, Braeden Doty; Grayson and Gunnar McDonald; sister, Denise Lane; brothers, Dan Ellis (Terri) and Dave Ellis; niece, Dana Ellis. Mark was a graduate of Union Endicott High School and Broome Community College. He spent nearly three decades working in the dairy department at Wegmans, where he made amazing friends whom he spoke of fondly. Mark loved to golf and was an avid New York Mets and Jets fan. He was known to his family as the "zinger" and that is a title we will never forget, but his favorite title was Grandpa and his face lit up anytime he spoke of or spent time with his grandsons, who will miss him dearly. We love you Dad, and we will miss you every day. We know you are finally at peace. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of donations, spread a random act of kindness in Mark's memory.
