Shirlenn Daniels O'Brien, 81 years old of Endwell New York, passed unexpectedly September 25, 2024.

She was born on February 17, 1943, daughter of the Glenn & Shirley Daniels. She was also predeceased by her father-n-law and mother-n-law, Edward, and Mabelle O'Brien; brothers-n-law Edward and Patrick O'Brien.

She is survived by her loving family, husband, William; two sons and daughters-n-law, Chris & Kelly O'Brien; Randy & Kelly O'Brien; daughter and son-n-law Colleen & Russell Price, Warwick RI, her granddaughters, whom she adored, Sarah (John) Derrigan, Ashley Price, Jocelyn and Ava O'Brien; cousins Jane Dent Boca Raton FL, Marcia & Dick Kelley, Lake Worth, FL, sister-n-law, Cynthia O'Brien, Marietta GA, nephews Kevin (Trish), Terry (Ann), Thomas (Dan) O'Brien.

Her faith and trust in God was strong. She loved spending time with her family, especially family vacations at Ocean City, NJ. She enjoyed attending the girls' concerts, plays and sporting events. Shirlenn retired from a 24-year career as a wedding coordinator, a job she so truly enjoyed. She was a Maine-Endwell football fan. She was an active member of Central United Methodist Church where she served on several committees, past president of United Methodist Women and member of Grace Circle. She was hospice volunteer. Her chocolate chip cookies were delicious and loved by many.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday October 1, 2024, from 10am – 12pm at Central United Methodist Church, 17 Nanticoke Avenue, Endicott followed by a Celebration of life ceremony at 12pm. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell. Contributions may be made to the memorial fund of Central United Methodist Church.
