Pooler (Steinruck), Neva L. Candor: Neva L. Pooler (Steinruck) of Candor passed away peacefully surrounded by family & friends on June 29, 2013 at the age of 79. She is survived by her loving husband, Curtis; her son, Thomas & Mary Lynn Cole; four stepchildren, Mark & Yvonne Pooler, David & Carol Pooler, Roy & Teresa Pooler, Lee Anne Pooler & Eric; six grandchildren, very special Scott & Tiffany Pooler. Michelle Pooler, Amy (Mike) Collins, Tony Knopick, Shannon (Brandon) Smith & Jeanette Cole; four great-grandchildren, Connor, Dillon, Max & Lexi; two brothers, Hal & Gary; one sister, Peggy; three stepsisters, Mary Ann (Mike), Beverly (Chris), Kay. She also had many nieces, nephews & special neighbors, Jack & Terrie. Neva was blessed with MANY friends. She worked as a cook manager in Vestal and Union-Endicott schools. With her CONTAGIOUS LAUGH, Neva brought sunshine into every life she touched. She never gave up & lived life to the fullest. Neva enjoyed the warm Arizona winters & being with Hal, Shelly, Mike, Mary Ann, Peggy & Elmer. Neva loved to paint and play cards. Her beauty radiated from within. Her kind heart & beautiful spirit has touched us all, she will forever be greatly missed. NEVA DID HER BEST & GOD DID THE REST. Calling hours will be at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 765 Main Street, Vestal, NY on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. Burial service will be at Vestal Park Cemetery, 316 Main Street, Vestal, NY.
