Obituary of Jan L Eschbach

Jan L. Eschbach of Vestal Jan L. Eschbach, 71, of Vestal, died unexpectedly Monday evening, January 19, 2009, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Bill Eschbach in 2001; her parents, Aleda McCann; and father, Edward Bell. She is survived by her two sons, Eric Richter, Rensselear, Ind., and Karl Richter, Binghamton; grandson, Ronnie Richter; her deceased husbands children, Erica Moore, Johnson City, Karl and Suzanne Eschbach, Montrose, Pa., Kurt Eschbach, Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., Debbie and Doug Ruckle, Anchorage, Alaska; also grandchildren, Jason, Brian, Derek, Desir, Nicole; two stepsisters and spouses, Janice and Eric Smith, and Jean and George Maravich, all of Monica, Pa.; stepbrother and his wife, John and Janis Bell, Northridge, Calif.; two nieces, Amanda and Morgan. She was a member of the Vestal United Methodist Church and a member of the Red Hat Society. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. from the Vestal United Methodist Church, 328 Main St., Vestal. The Rev. Michael Willis, Pastor of her church, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 765 Main St., Vestal, Thursday from 5-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family for the future education of Jan's grandson, Ronnie, in care of Karl Richter, 43 Nowlan Road, Apt. West, Binghamton, N.Y. 13901.
