David H. Dibble David H. Dibble, 85, of Vestal, NY, died August 14, 2013 of a massive heart attack. His wife, Kathleen, predeceased him. David is survived by his children David Dibble (Venita), Adrienne Dibble (Rita), and Leslie Holly and his sisters, Lola Thorpe and Ann Buddenhagen. He served our country honorably during the Korean Conflict; working with one other man decoding messages for supplies and routing in the war zone. His honesty and integrity as a business owner bore him hundreds of faithful customers while owning Dibble's Sunoco in Westover followed by Dibble's Service on Binghamton's South Side. At Vestal United Methodist Church, he was known for his faith in Christ, serving in many capacities for 56 years. Special thanks to the Memorial 3 staff at Binghamton General Hospital for the incredible care and compassion given to Dad (both times), and to the Veterans' Home in Oxford, NY for the honor, respect and superior care during the month he was with them.
