Obituary of Mickey Evans

Mickey K. Evans 10/22/1976 - 1/18/2009 Mickey K. Evans fought a long battle, first with cancer, then with his apartment fire on Washington Ave. in Endicott on December 9, 2008. He passed away at the Strong Memorial Hospital Burn Unit on January 18, 2009. Mickey is survived by his loving family; daughter, Tressa Evans, Endicott; parents, Gerald and Cheri Anne Miller (Evans), Maine; sister, Misti Evans, Apalachin; nieces and nephews, Cherish, Cameron, and Lily; aunts, uncles, many very loving cousins and friends. Mickey was also survived by his step family: grandparents, Cecil and Vera Miller; sisters, Laurie and Greg Irving, Carrie and Scott Murphey, Tracy and Jaramy Weber, Christie and Jim Thalen, and Paula Graham; also several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends, all of Canada. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2009, at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The Rev. Brown Naik will officiate. A gathering will follow at American Legion, Post 82, Riverside Drive, Endicott (behind Dunkin' Donuts) from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. You may send flowers or make donations to the Endicott Fire Dept.; The Burn Unit at Strong Memorial in Rochester; or the American Cancer Society.
